Hello. I'm hoping to find some solution to the "3cmlink has caused an error in 3CV42.DLL. 3mclink will now close" error message. When this happens, stuff freezes up and I gotta go back, Jack, do it again.... I have WIndows ME ( i know, i know...), but all of what AOL has proffered as advice was....well lets just say it did not work. Anyone there got the solution?

Must be a problem with your modem drivers. Did you check the device manager for problems? Try to find the most recent drivers on the manufacturers website an install them, after you uninstalled the old ones. If nothing helps, try a different modem (maybe from a friend).
