Hi,

I am facing a problem, while I open any explorer window into my laptop having XP, It suddenly haults and for 1 to 2 min. it remains hault.
what can be the possible causes, that I am feeling very much problem while checking my mails.

please help me that what can be the possible causes of y system gets too slow or halted.

Firstly, I would run a virus/spyware/trojan check.
If this is clear - try System Restore- choosing a point where as far as you know there was no
problem.
