I have an HP G62 with windows 7.

I have a problem with the volume control, it works erratically whether I use the keyboard's hot keys or go directly to the little speaker at the bottom right corner.

-Somtimes volume (or mute) responds several seconds later after holding down the key.

-Sometimes the volume bar on the middle of the screen won't go away until I click on the small speaker on the bottom right corner of the screen.

-Or also, the small volume bar that pops from the lower right corner won't go away on its own. As in, if make it pop up clicking on it, the bar won't go away until I press esc.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Go to HP's website and check their support pages. See if there is a newer package for the keyboard hotkeys that you can install on your computer for Windows 7.
