Something ive always wondered

how come sometimes in IE you can select Today in the history and delete it but other time you have to delete each individual entry

I haven't encountered any problem like this ... if I delete history I select today and delete it. Can you explain your problem ?

wells sometimes if i select today and delete when i restart the browers all of the history comes back so i have to expand today and delete each one individually

Well ya could always use CCleaner, but sometime's its a hastle.

Well you can always delete history manually by going here:

X:\Documents and Settings\mis\Local Settings\History

where X is your system drive .. and ofcourse I'm talking about windows XP.
