I needed to rebuild my wife's computer (Bad hard drive). I managed to get her bookmarks exported, and off the machine. When I reloaded the machine, and imported the bookmarks, what I got was screwy. Many of the bookmarks are missing (but none of the folders are missing). Many of the others have descriptions that belong to different bookmarks.
Any clues?

They are from IE6, and they are for IE6.
The bookmark file, incidentally opens up fine as an html file should, and I can click on the links there which work normally. What causes the trouble is the import process.
You should be able to copy these over by hand. Copy the contents of the saved Favorites folder to c:\documents and setting\*username*\Favorites.
