I have a Sony laptop with ME and it has 2 partitions, Can I reformat it and it will automatically have just one partition? I don't want to have to buy Partition Magic to accomplish this if possible.I know I have to reformat each partition seperately but don't want it to reinstall with 2 again.

If you are using fdisk (or similar) it is simple. You delete both partitions and then create one new one. Directions are here in case you don't know how.
