internet explore wont start

any help please i am a new user to pc's, ive had one for 3 months with no
problems and now IE wont start at all, if i click on a link it says it is busy and always returns to desktop.
i have ran virus scans,ad-aware and reg repairs to no avail
last thing i did was unistanll medal of honour last night and it worked ok before, and wouldnt work today.
currently using another browser to get by, but its reall annoying not knowing
whats wrong
any info at all would be appreciated

yeah, i had that same problem some time ago. it's the yahoo toolbar that screwed it up. go into internet options/advanced and disable 3rd party browser extension. see if that helps
