I am using a Directi based email account. Everything works fine when I hook up the computer directly to the DSL router. However, when I try to access the email account through my Netgear WGR614 router, I get this error. I have done some research through Google on this matter and the following seemed somewhat relevant, but I am unable to find a correction for the problem.

Please help resolve this problem. It seems like I might have to reconfigure the router in some way.

Hi,

I am having the SAME problem. I just got a new PC and I am using a wireless card (linksys) to access the internet. I just spent a whole day troubleshooting this, and I am a former techie, and I know my settings are correct, but no go as far as sending messages. Help!
