I just got a second hand laptop and I want to restore it to factory settings, it came with three "recovery cd's" which I can't get to work, and every online guide suggests going to "erecovery" on my laptop, the thing is I don't have this "erecovery", I have "emanagement" which does not have the same options...

I have an Acer Aspire 3500 series.

Hello all, I am having this kind of trouble too. The thing is I can't restore my computer settings into the factory settings because my eRecovery doesn't work. I have already downloaded eREcovery from the Acer website under device/apps downloads. However, it doesn't run well. So, can I restore my computer to the original settings with the default drivers and applications installed?

I'm using TravelMate 3260 anyway. Thank you for your reply. I hope to hear from you guys soon.
