I have a cisco 7937 conference phone and unfortunatly it is posistioned in a conference room on the other side of a loud lab with lots of machine noises and whistles. Is there a way to lower the sensitivity of the speakers? The people on the other end of the phone says its unbearably loud. I moved the phone to a quiet area and tested it, the phone is fine and unfortunatly this is the main conference room and cannot be moved.

How about soundproofing the lab walls. Foam squares and spray on glue work wonders.
