Netgear DG834GT and WG111T PROBLEMS

I recently bought a bundle containing the DG834GT and WG111T.

I have set the router up and it connects to the web OK when wired however I cannot get the adapter to pick the router up wirelessly, I just get a flashing blue light on the adaptor.

I have ensured tht the SSID is the same as the router and have not enabled security.

I have tried resetting to factory setting and powering down/up but whenever I scan for networks the adaptor will pick up every other network around me but mine!

Can anyone help please?

I have a similar problem. Flashing blue light. Recognizes my network with a strong signal...No data. Shows ch 11 and about 18 bps. Tech support goes to India. Very nice gentman who can't communicate. Very frustrating.

looks like mac filtering is enabled. and in the first post - ssid is not broadcasted
