I know in some countries (eg Tur.. & I..) in some universities, some instructors use some old compilers to teach some thing in C++.

if u mean BGI graphics, see help files in Borland C++ version. u must know where BGI folder is.. initialize graphics & use putpixel.
for an image you should know the format & get pixels by opening the picture file & puting them on the screen. BGI programs can't be used in some computers.
