**The creators of an automated software engineer tout their AI's capability to independently tackle complete coding projects, including actual tasks from Upwork. While skepticism is warranted regarding Devin's authenticity, the risk of AI displacing professionals across numerous fields is undeniable.** ![will-code-for-food.jpg](https://static.…

Steve Jobs may not like it, but competition is healthy for the markets for consumers and for the products. If he makes an agreement making Bing the only search option in the Iphones, he will upset their users, because Google is very popular and still the best search engine of the two. Also, Google is not like the kind of an weak company that could …

Steve Jobs is always good for a surprise announcement, although usually the media has got an idea of what is about to be revealed. Not so at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference 2007 in San Francisco today, where the Apple CEO shocked everyone by announcing that the much loved Safari web browser client would be made available on the Windows …

Apple has been holding a highly unusual press conference to clam fears about the iPhone 4 and the 'death grip' problems some users have experienced. Unfortunately, Steve Jobs seems to be in two minds about what message to get across. On the one hand he says there is no problem, on the other he's giving away free cases to solve it... The iPhone 4 …

Apple shares have fallen, although not as steeply as many traders had imagined, after CEO Steve Jobs announced that he was taking a six-month medical leave of absence. My first reaction was surprise. Six months? That sounded serious. Then disgust, as Internet trolls had Jobs on his death bed. As The New York Times reports, Jobs’ condition isn’t …

Considering a couple of emails I have had regarding this story already, maybe I should clarify a few points: Yes, of course I am happy that Apple is doing something to resolve consumer issues with the iPhone 4. No, I do not think the use of a bumper case is an elegant solution. If you have to physically cover the antenna then surely the fact it …

It's not about gossip. It has to do with Jobs being the very public face at a publicly traded company and the extent to which Jobs has exposed his company to very real stockholder law suits related to how he has handled this. When you are Steve Jobs, it becomes people's business because his health is related directly to the price of the stock. …

It is called 'news' and, like it or not, the health of the CEO of a major corporation is newsworthy - especially when prolonged denial of any problem allows speculation to grow and impact the stock price, to be followed by an 'all is OK and I am doing my job' statement which changes to an 'actually, I had better take six months off thinking about …

It is one thing to blog “I hate Apple, why don’t they go out of business!” Sure you can do that and Apple won’t care 2 cents about you.
