i connected a laptop by s video cable. the graphics are clear but where ever text is displayed its all blurry can someone halp me?

Yar, tis but the effect of tube tele with computers. Only time everything gets clear for me is when I reduce the resolution to 640x480.

the problem is the tv is replacement for shattered lcd and it recognises it as main display and only lets me go down to 800 x 600
