Hi,

I have tried 3 different browsers. All of the sudden I cannot login to sights like: hotmail, ebay, pcpitstop. Dreamweaver also gets errors while trying to upload but not connecting. I continue to recieve the error page when trying to log onto theses sights. I have tried changin the security levels and cookie levels.

Any suggestions?

Thank you so much...

Installed recently new router, firewall software or something similar? Cause these sites usually make use of https which can cause it not to work if you havent configured above software properly.

Thanks for the tip. I did move to a new house that already had a connection set up with a 2wire modem. I will try an old modem that I have. Do you think it couuld also be with the router? I have an older computer with Windows 2000 and it has the same problem with this internet connection.

Thank you

Thank you

Yeah I'd check the router settings if I were you. If you cant figure it out quickly, you should try and map port 443 (standard https port) to the ip of the machine where you wanna test it on, or put your pc in the DMZ of the router (if it has this option). If your gonna put your pc in the DMZ make sure you have a proper installed firewall on that pc.

Good luck.

Thanks for the help. It turned out to be a firewall problem with my new router. I just had to change on little port number by calling tech support.

Thanks :)
