IBM 2284 Windows ME recovery

Hello all,

I was having a problem with my IBM Netvista 2284 Windows ME: it used to lock within 5mn when I start working.

I tried to recover the initial environment using a boot floppy disk + recovery CD, but now after booting, they are some errors when I insert the recovery CD:

" H:\NAT70G_W.ARJ not found "
" BACKUP.LFN not found "
" C:\WINDOWS not found"
etc

and I have to boot again with boot floppy disk, and the same thing happens.

Has anyone had this sort of problem before ? and how have you solved it ? your help will be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps you have 2 or more cdroms and you are putting the recovery cd in the wrong cdrom .
