Hi I have recently been given a PC running XP pro, this had Microsoft Office installed but when I tried to open Outlook it wanted to look for the exchange server and when couldn't find it shut down. In an effort to sort this I removed the software and ran a registry cleaner, I then reinstalled the software, but I still have the same problem. How do I get into outlook to sort this? Thanks for your help

What I mean is that Outlook can't work if not set up with an exchange server, so your problem is not Outlook shutting but rather that it can't find the server.
