I have no idea if I am in the right place since this is my first time here. My problem is this: I reformatted my computer and when I was booting it up to load windows and all that my computer just stops with a flashing cursor at this message: searching for boot record ide-o
I have pushed all kinds of buttons and nothing can get it past this point.
I have put in the system disc...no change
I have put in the disc that came with the hard drive...no change
does anyone out there know what is going on with my computer?
your help would be greatly appreciated....
also...the boot up disc does nothing.....
