I have a 2002 Windows XP.

Whenever I shut it down, it immediatley starts back up.

It used to do this once in a while, but it happens all the time now..
Can I get some help? =|

This document details many different shutdown issues (including your own) and offers different solutions. Give the tips there a try and let us know if it fixes your problem.

My guess is a corrupt or missing ACPI driver, or ACPI is disabled in the bios. Try enabling ACPI in the bios and tru updating the ACPI drivers
