Hotmail with amnesia

My system is failing to remember my E-mail usernames & passwords.
Also other things like the local weather sites cannot remember where I live no matter how many times I change them.
Im running with all add-ons disabled. 1 of the add-ons is switching off IE.
How can I re-instate the 1 which (is obviously responsible) for "memory?
Please note Im a total idiot on this thing so keep all replies very very simple please.

Hi,

So nothing is being saved. It sounds like your cookies are being cleared. If you are using IE then go to:

Tools
Internet Options

Uncheck Delete Browsing History on Exit

If you wish to re-enable that add-on click:

Tools
Manage Add-ons
Highlight the Add-on
Click Enable
