I can't download IE6, a message comes up saying I need to reboot because of a previous installation.

1) What version of IE do you have at the moment
2) What OS do you run
3) Are you logged in as an administrator (if its an NT based system)

Please try to RE-INSTALL IE6 (Uninstall it first)

If you have XP SP2 you cannot uninstall IE6 - it's integral. You pretty much reinstall or repair SP2, or repair just IE6.

You might be able to RE-INSTALL it w/o any issue...
