hi,

i'm running 2003 Sp1 in my system.

i want to connect it wirelessly to my linksys wrt54g router using netgear wg111v2 usb adapter.

but the netgear drivers are not working in 2003 and netgear has no drivers for 2003.

if anyone knows a workaround, pls help

processor : Intel p4 ht 3.06ghz

memory : 1 gb transcend 533 mhz

motherboard : mercury 945gzd

Well if Netgear has no drivers for the USB adapter i think your going to have to buy a different adapter. Seeing as your router is 'G' standard, you can use any manufactures USB adapter because it is the standard G speed. You could try finding drivers through windows using the 'Add Hardware' facility in Control Panel. Worth a try to see if windows has any drivers that work with the adapters.

I realise that this may be a bit late for your issue, but incase you or someone else still wants this information, this works for me on W2K3 Server.

Download the XP drivers (setup.exe)
right click on it & set the compatability to Windows XP
then run.

It appears that only the setup checks for the operating system.
