Problems accessing localhost on other network computers

hi all,
I have installed wamp server and so i would like that another computers on the network can open my webpages.
i did the followings
i changed my ets/host file i added the follwing
192.168.1.34 homeserver.lan
192.168.1.34 *.homeserver.lan
but it didnt allow the other computers join.
if possible pls help me

192.168.1.34 -is my computer ip

You need to change your apache configuration file too, i think.
The file is httpd.conf, as i remember.

I changed both httpd and host file
i installed wordpress on my computer.
and when i connect through other compueter it only displays index. php but admin section, css, it cannot display. Also when i request by id it cannot display

Well, everything is normal. When you enter a website on the web, you can not access to the admin section of that website. I am not sure if wordpress is different from normal php website but if we consider it as a normal website, it is normal, that you cant access. Try to create ftp server.

If you install the Wamp Server, firstly check the infophp . if the infophp is show then your Wamp is install.and another computer You install the Apache software and go to docs folder , the docs folder is show in c drive , after run the web page on local host, may be your problem is short out.
