I have an iPod which was the capability of accessing the internet, so I am trying to set up this router that I've had forever. It is a Linksys Wireless-B Broadband Router. 2.4 GHz, 802.11b, Model BEFW11S4.
My problem is that I do not have an available Ethernet port on the back of my modem. It is a Motorola SBV5220 SURFboard Cable Modem.
The router's instructions command the following:
1) Connect an Ethernet cable to Ethernet ports on the back of the router (any of the four slots) and to the back of my PC. (this has been done).
:icon_exclaim: 2) Connect a different Ethernet cable from your cable modem to the Internet port on the back of the router.
I see the Internet port on the back of the router, but there is no available port on my cable modem. The only available sports on my modem are labeled 'Tel 2' and 'USB.'

This pic shows the front of both my cable modem and router. The lights on the cable modem, in order from top to bottom, are Power, DS, US, Online, Link, Tel 1, Tel 2, Battery, Standby. The lights on the router, in order from left to right, are Power, Wireless-B, Ethernet 1, Ethernet 2, Ethernet 3, Ethernet 4, Internet.

This pic shows the back of my router. The ports, from left to right, are Internet, Ethernet 1, Ethernet 2, Ethernet 3, Ethernet 4, and lastly the power cord.

These pics show the back of my cable modem. The cord in the bottom left corner of the picture is the power cord. From top left to top right is Tel 1, Tel 2, Ethernet, USB, a very tiny hole labeled Reboot EMTA, and lastly Cable.
To simplify, my problem stems from step 2. Step 2 is labeled at the top of the post with a yellow exclamation point. What can I do to get my router to work?
