Having an issue here. I have my laptop connected to a wireless network. I currently have my xbox connected to my laptop through the ethernet port. Yet, my Network Card says that network cables are unplugged. Could anyone help me troubleshoot??

you have to make sure you're using a Cross over cable, also you may find ICS might not work with x box's if it doesn't.... what ^^ said
This site has instructions on how to connect your xbox 360 wirelessly via a latop or modified router to xbox live. More importantly these are cheap options compared to the standard xbox 360 wireless adaptor:)
