Hi Folks,

I'm Darryl from Tn. I've been an automated machine builder for almost 20 years now.(wow time goes by fast) and love my work. I've recently found myself pulled out of my nice comfortable PLC,CNC world to design some new machines. PC based machines. I was guided into the VB.net world and here I am. I locked myself in my office and wen't through every MS tutorial i could find. I've managed to write a couple of data graphing App's with the use of teroid graphing utility and about to integrate my first machine control but fully aware i'm riding the tricycle as a code writer. Namespaces.properties, methods all new all fun, hopefully an old dog can learn new tricks.

Welcome. If you liked the MS tutorials, you may want to check out the .NET books by microsoft press (VB.NET Step by Step is pretty good)

just googled it. Looks like a good read. I'll probably order it, thanks!!!
