I graduated last May with a BS in Computer Science. After taking the summer off, I started looking for a job. So far I have been unsuccessful. My only prior work experience was a project for a company in Georgia. While my database work was pretty good in my opinion, the web development phase fell apart, so I have nothing so far to put on my resume as work experience.

I have been seriously thinking recently about taking some courses at this local computer training center towards MCDBA or Security+, mainly to flesh out my resume some more, and make me more employable. Is certification something that employers will look for when they get a resume? Are there any out-of-school tips you guys have to making me more attractive to employers?
