A better algorithm: public static int NumberOfFridays( int DayOfFirstFridayInMonth, int LengthOfMonth ) { int length = LengthOfMonth - DayOfFirstFridayInMonth; return ( 1 + ( length / 7 ) ); } It's better because it's explicit (so it should be faster and it takes less code). Micah Hoover
