Nationality Lookup table

Hi

I am new database designer. I am wondering if there is ready-made standard Nationality lookup table, I think I will find those entries in some txt file since Every DBMS can load a text file. and I think there must be a standard schema for that table something like
CountryCode, CountryName where CountryCode is PK

Please help me finding those standards or verify that there is no such standard so I will create my own table and backup it for reusing.

I there is a pool for standard tables?

Note: I am using MS SQL Server 2005

  3166-3 Code for formerly used names of countries / DIS expected spring 97

  Quote: We are delighted to notice that the acceptance of ISO3166 among
  users of country codes is growing.  However, the use of ISO3166 e.g. in
  the Internet confronts ISO3166/MA with formerly unknown problems.  One
  among these problems is that more and more "non-country-entities" as
  e.g. organisations, interest groups or groupings of countries request
  ISO3166 code elements.  The scope of the standard does not allow for
  allocation of code elements to such "groups".

Those are country codes, he was asking for nationalities. My country is The Netherlands but my nationality is Dutch. Also, the nationality is different in each language. This is probably the reason that there is no standard yet.
