hi I wonder if anyone can help?
I am trying to write a simple server_side message reciever so i can send messages from one machine to another, I want the program wrapped in a gui and i have been doing this using tkinter. However I have a problem, I can get the messages to appear in the display but only if i bind the function to a sequence(eg hit the enter button). How can i get the messages to appear in the screen automatically each time a message is sent without having to hit the enter button each time to 'prepare' the screen. This works fine if i run the program in a terminal but im struggling with it in tkinter. Ive been stuck on this for a while now can someone pleeeaasseee help!!!
