i am student of MS Electrical engineering...and now i am thinking to star my Thesis.....for this i iahve selected the topic "Calculation of Very Fast Transients in Gas Insulated Substations and its modeling using MATLAB simulink." now please tell me that weather i can do this on MATLAB or not...if so than tell me the way to simulate the electrical circuit as well as Transient Anlaysis of the circuit on MTALAB Simulink....and also to draw the waveforms on the oscilosope...ok...please tell me the way sot that i can start my project...secondly there is software EMTP for trannsient anlaysis of electrical circuits......now can i have free access to this software on net.....please reply me......i will be very greatful to you.
