internet speed booster

Hi all,
ok so i want to make a programme to speed up the internet, may be someting like idm. I googled but all i could find was download managers, nothing related to boost up the downloads or something.. I am looking for a c# solution. I am not expecting a full source code but someting to start off with. I know my way with c# and asp.net but never got to do anyting with socket programming so any links, resources would be of great help...
