I am making an iPhone App which requires user to go to a website and then download a file from which then ill extract the data and display/use it as i please....
I can go to the website using safari from within the app, but can i download a file? does apple allow it?

UIWebView and NSURL are to be used to meet your requirement. Many examples are there in the web, juz google it.
People tell me that once we download a file (using the download link on a webpage) it goes in some documents/downloads section of the phone, and we cant access the file from there....
how can that be solved....?
