##vbScript - Convert Integer to Binary String Please see my post [vbScript - The Basics](https://www.daniweb.com/programming/threads/516400/vbscript-the-basics) for more details on vbScript. vbScript has a number of functions for converting from one type to another. These functions are named C<type> as in CInt (convert to int), CDbl (convert to double), etc. There are also functions that will format numbers as string (FormatNumber, FormatPercent, FormatCurrentcy, Hex, etc.) One glaring omission is a function to format numbers (integers) as binary. Fortunately the process is straightforward. If we first convert the number to e hexadecimal string we can then convert each hex digit into its …

I have a Chromecast that I use to stream video from my laptop to our TV. It works great, however, until VLC (Videolan) releases their promised upgrade with Chromecase support, I am limited to streaming files in the mp4 format. Fortunately, ffmpeg allows me to convert other formats to mp4. Unfortunately, figuring out what parameters to use can be daunting. So far I have determined the commands to use to convert avi, flv and mkv. The last two are a simple repackaging of the contents (takes but a few seconds). The first, avi, requires a complete recoding. The following commands …

This program challenge was given to me by my Professor for extra credit. He said it includes some programming that we haven't learned yet in our C++ class. Messed up... Ideally I would love if someone would do this for me, but we all know that's not happening. lol Anyways...could anybody offer an idea of what I would do/use? Needed a func to convert base 2 into 10, and back. Found the referenced code in this func for moving between three bases, and generalized it to between bases 2 and 62, and all in between. Upconvert a number, then down convert, then upconvert again. Go wild, have fun.

This will take a value in EAX or AX, convert to ASCII hex with optional padding and upper or lower case This example would yield "---fc103a" push word 0x222d ; 32 bit conversion, padd output with '-' push word ASCPntr ; Pointer to end of conversion buffer push 0xfc103a call I2H inc ax ; AX points to actual first character AX pointing to 1 character before actual beginning allows for successive calls with that pointer so essentially one could convert a 1,024 bit value with this algo.

## Background ## Hi All, I 've been playing around with colour (color!) formats and needed to create a class for converting different formats, so I thought I'd share it. It seems to work quite well and accepts a number of different convenient formats. The class allows the conversion between HSL, HSV, RGB, CMYK, HEX (base16), Integer (base10) and 'HTML color names'. I found the formulae for conversion from pseudocode in the following locations: http://www.rapidtables.com/convert/color/ (great colour references!) http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15202079/convert-hex-color (for the sscanf method) It should be noted that conversions involving CMYK can only be approximate as there is no absolute …

I’m not sure how easy or hard it is to create such a code and was wondering if such code or a similar code already exists. The code I'm looking for would do this: EX: The sky is blue --> Is the sky blue? I’m very novice to programming, so any suggestions and tips will be welcome
