Noticed that Moderator badge has been dropped. I don't really care about the others, but the Mod badge was useful if I had to put my Mod hat on. Now I'm a grumpy git just pretending to be a Mod. OK it's there if you're a thread starter, but not otherwise.

**_Greetings, dear Python forum users, from newly appointed moderator pyTony!_** There have been some development lock up of the Forum database occuring due to debugging process of current transition process to new Forum software. I have today been appointed as moderator and I have started to learn the processes involved by little clean up of some recent threads in this my **'Home Forum'**. I hope I can do my duties well, and sorry that English not being my native language, my language may not allways be flawless. I happen to read through some good posts by someone, and just as being appreciative, i pressed on Up-Arrow (positive arrow). For some time like 1 or 2, it worked fine, but later As soon as i pressed it, both arrows disappeared. It happened like 2 or 3 times with the same person (He is a mod). I don't think its a vote limiter in Daniweb, if it were, it would have been just limited to reps, there would not have been any problem in up-voting alone, right? So what is causing this?

OK, we know if we pull out the ranking list, we can see the one with the maximum post, reps or solved threads etc. But this is not about that, its about the people's choice, so who do you think is the best among the big boys here. (Multiple entries for different forums, not a problem, Include forum name too).

Hello there. I haven't been here for a long time but now i am here. Well this post is more towards the moderators. I was wondering if it is possible to change my username(which is konyango) ? Reason being that it is a "reserved"(meaning it has a bearing in the real world) name and i feel I am misusing it.
