Hello people, I'm trying to collect some data stored between <body> and </body> tags inside a string. Here's a piece of the code i'm using: [CODE] $regex = '/<body>(.*?)<\/body>/si'; preg_match($regex, $content, $content); $content = $content[0];[/CODE] This works perfect, except that it also includes the above mentioned tags. I would just like to grab the content in between those tags and store it. In other words, only store the (.*?) part of the regex. Anyone have an idea how to solve this? :)

Hi, I'm trying to have a black box at 60% opacity over my background image. I'm having no problem getting the #content tag at 60% opacity, but the text is also now at 60%. Does anyone have any help for this matter? I also need help with some footer css, I want the text to be the same color as the link, but I'm having some trouble with this. Thanks to anyone for taking a look at this. Link: [URL="http://skatelaircompound.com/draft"]http://skatelaircompound.com/draft[/URL]

Hello, We just changed our website to a different host/shopping cart and I am working on attempting to get our rankings higher in the search engines, (like everyone else). My question is, why do some sites not seem to have any meta tags or descriptions, and yet are consistently at the very top of the search? Others, which don't really have a lot to do with the search terms, are also consistently on the first few pages, and yet many of them have few meta tags. Some have a ton, others have none, some are somewhere in the middle. One …

I do not often visit the Java forum, because I know nothing worth posting in the Java forum :) But when I [I]do[/I] visit, I see a lot of posts with code without code-tags. This makes the code nearly unreadable and reduces the overall quality of Daniweb. So I have a request: When you see a post without code-tags, please use the "flag bad post" link that you can see on every post. This alerts a moderator (me for example) which can then fix the tags. If you don't know how code-tags work, it's very easy. 1. Press the [noparse][code][/noparse] …

Hi! I am planning to create a system for my case study wherein i can Add tags from images and search for it by [B]"tags"[/B] such as [B]photobucket. [/B] For example i open an image to my system, and it's file name was [B]"WhiteHouse.jpg"[/B] and i added or[B] tagged[/B] it as [B]"Building"[/B]. Once i [B]search[/B] on my computer, and type the word/keyword "Building", the image "WhiteHouse.jpg" will be displayed on search results as i tagged it on my system. Is that possible guys? or i can only search by [B]tags[/B] using my system/application? and [B]not[/B] in the[B] search [/B]command in …

Can you add the icode button to the Quick Reply? I tend to use it (as previously mentioned ad nauseum :icon_razz:) for anything in which fixed font helps text stand out better. In fact, I probably use it more than code tags. I would find the button link handy. Another approach might be to go with the [tt][/tt] ("teletype" I believe is what it was elseweb) shorthand. But I guess that was already rejected. :'( :P

Sorry, thread title a little melodramatic, but making sure is noticed :D Seriously though, when tags initially rolled, individual "tags" were separated by a [B]comma[/B], rather than by a [B]space[/B] (although commas still seem to work as well). The problem is that this updated format disallows a two-word tag, such as "Windows 7" - the space btwn the two creates [B]two individual tags[/B]... the [I]original[/I] tags rollout had no such issues. Is there a reason for the changes, or is it possible to go back to the original tag format? calamity

We're doing some exciting new things with tags but it seems that adoption to use them has been slow. I'd like to encourage everyone to please start tagging your threads. The more people who do it, the more they get noticed and other people start. Tagging is a great way to drive extra traffic to your threads. The tag clouds at the bottom of the page can also be built to reflect related content, and member profiles have tag clouds that demonstrate an overview of what that member likes to write about.
