How do you have data on a form go to a database?

Note: I'm very new to everything so please bare with me.

Say I have a form on a website which asks for your first name, last name, and email address. Upon clicking submit, I want the data to be transferred and saved to a Microsoft Access Database. How do you go about doing something like this?
