I'm a retired systems engineer for power generating station startups. I like building computers and setting up networks at home. Still have 3 children at home that are homeschooled. Trying to setup 4 desktops and a couple laptops with a new TonidaPlug and an Iomega external 1TB USB drive. One desktop is running Ubuntu, one is dual booting with Win XP Pro and Ubuntu (32bit), one is Win XP Pro and Ubuntu (also dual boot but is 64bit), one is in the process of being rebuilt, and we have a couple of laptops......
I'm trying to learn about the Virtual Machine so that I can operate in Ubuntu and still use the Windows apps and trying to learn how to back all of them up on the 1TB so that if one fails I can put in a new hard drive and run the image and be back up quickly...
