Ages ago someone came to my Techno Music based website and created a profile called "Animal Sex". I deleted the profile and banned the account. But I have noticed loads of sites guestbooks being spammed with the old url leading to the profile.

What is the purpose of this? I do not understand why whoever it is, is doing this?

Type in poundingbeats into Google, the first few pages are fine but page 7 and after are littered with links to the guest books that have this link in them. Its annoying because I notice in some it just promotes the "Animal Sex" profile whereas in others it promotes other websites not sure what they are, but my website slots into the URL section not the body of the message.

Its annoying because it discredits my site and also I believe it might even effect my pagerank due to Google seeing it as me spamming when it is not.

Anyone else know why the person is doing this?
Or had any similar problems?

I have also noticed that the same person is doing the same thing with www.myfinancialblog.com created an "Animal Sex" profile / blog and spammed it in guest books

Just put a spam filter in place and be done with it. You can rarely target a specific source, especially since most spammers hijack other computers/websites to do the spamming for them, so you can almost never catch them.

I cannot put a spam filter in place because it is not my website he / she is spamming on.

He / she is spamming my website on other websites, linking to a profile called "Animal Sex" which no longer exists on my website (as my website is music based not porn).

I am just curious why on earth someone would do this?

Report all issues to the necessary authorities (google etc).
