Only because of the fact that more Americans agreed with them. If I recall what I've read correctly, it stated that ~2/3 of Al Gore's recount funds in the 2K election were from ~ 84 rich celebs.
Of course, the media chose to skewer the recount funding results by by publishing the total figures, but not the average donation size.
And jwenting, it's not impossible to get a high score, although the method does verify your analysis. I went through trying to pick the most humorous/absurd answers on each slot and got an 8/10.
In the elections Ralph Nader took away votes that most likely would have gone to Al Gore or John Kerry, which have made either of them president.

These quizzes are always supposed to be just for fun. It's already evident that a score of 10 is achievable. How about you just have fun with it than blame the leftists and claiming that they are generally idiots. Does everything need to be a political attack? Had it been a situation like WWII, I would fight. Even the Persian Gulf war I would be willing to fight in. I don't think it's fair to force someone to risk their life when 1) they don't agree with the reasons for the war and 2) they still aren't considered responsible enough to drink yet they are responsible enough to be killed for their country. Draft the Bush daughters and let's see who the real draft dodgers are. For that matter any child of a congressman. They would be sure to change their minds about the war.

From some of the information I've read, Michael Moore tried to pull that kind of questioning on a few Congressmen a few years back for one of his crockumentaries. He made the mistake of asking one Congressman (I'll try to track the name down later, can't remember it offhand) who stated that his own children were already risking their lives in battle, and he'd be happy to continue supporting the war. (May have been Afghanistan at the time; as I said, this was a few years back.) Interestingly enough, Mike chose to drop that little bit of footage from production...
