I have been getting the "page cannot be displayed" massages for most sites. I am having a hard time accessing sites such as yahoo, hotmail, ebay, etc. For example, I can only access yahoo after I refresh the page 100 times, well, a little less than that. But the page still does not show up properly. No access to hotmail at all. No access to my eBay, etc etc.

Please help, really appreciate

I still have the same symptoms, it's difficult to access sites. I can only access sites after I refresh the page a number of times. But there are still some pages I cannot open, i.e. hotmail, my eBay, yahoo mail.

After going through some readings, I did several things to solve the problem.
I scanned my computer with Spybot and Ad-aware, no luck.

I ran some commands that are suggested in other forums:
1. netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
2. netsh winsock reset catalog
3. netsh winsock reset
I am a computer illiterate so I have no idea at all what these commands do. In the end, all with no luck

I also download and run winsockxpfix, still no luck
It is even worse with winsockxpfix, I lost connection, I got limited or no connection after reboot. I cannot access internet at all. So I did system restore, but I still have the previous problems.

Then I download and run IEFix and still no luck

Please anyone kind enough to help me solve this problem of my life, I would really appreciate it.
