Just wanted to give more credit to the Daniweb, for having information on this anti-malware tool.
No other websites I found at the time had any information on it.
We had one of those root kits (aluron) that prevented us from browsing the internet - and redirected the browser to shopping websites. All of our other favorite anti-malware tools, such as Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware, Microsoft Security Essentials, CCleaner, Gmer, BlackLight,...were not able to remove it. Finally we tried TDSSkiller, a free download from Kaspersky Labs, and that removed it. It required rebooting, and the virus erases the IP address and DNS settings, so those needed to be renewed. So next time I will go to the daniweb first, to save some time. The link for the download was at:
