Hi!!
I am on IBM Thinkpad R52- 1.73Ghz,512 DDR2 Ram, win XP Pro.
I have this wierd problem. I am a movie freak... so watch one now and then. The problem is , with specific movies ( "specific" dosent apply to the kind of movie, just some particular movie), CPU usage goes 100% at a particular point in the movie and then, within 30 sec, the comp. reboots after giving an error message. I will put up the message in some time here.

I have AVG free edition and I have ensured that no other applicaton is running when this happens.

The sooner you can do that, the better, as the symptoms you've described aren't those normally associated with virus or spyware infections.
