I just want to understand is it a crime to ask someone to show some effort / the code that s/he is working on before assisting them in solving their issue.

I have been down voted in that thread for asking the OP to show the effort, may be i should have supplied the code without uttering a word. Is that what is expected from me here ?

I am not trying to make and issue out of it, just want to know your opinion guys.

How the temporary files being created ?

Is it the application that is creating those for any specific reason ?

are all those .TMP files or any other binary file ?

let me explain clearly.

Every father is a son, and is a citizen, right.

so creating a separate table for father and another one for mother won't serve any purpose.

All citizen irrespective of father , mother, son need to be stored in a single CITIZEN table.

suppose you want to store father information with all other data of citizen.
You need to add a column say father_id to citizen table.

like

citizen
citizen_id,
citizen_name,
citizen_add1,
citizen_add2,
.............
.............
father_id,
.............

while storing data , you need to store the citizen id for the father into the fathers_id of the citizen. Sounds good ?
