I am trying to capture the COUNT of employees who are off by running a query from a table that has employee name and START DATE and END DATE of their vacation days throughout the years. I need to pull all employees who are GONE over a period of DATES SELECTED by the user. Should I use a Y/N statement (GONE or NOT GONE) in the criteria? If so, what is it? Second, which search parameter should I use if I only have the START DATE and END DATE? I need to have something that will capture ALL employees who may have started or ended their vacations outside the dates selected for viewing by the user.
