Hi, I have a rather naive question - when we have a generalisation/specialisation in an ER diagram, represented by an IS A relationship, can the subtypes (the lower-level entities) participate in their own relationship in which the other subtypes do not? And if they can, is this represented normally, like any other relationship? Thank you, regards
