I have a rather vague question on Applets. Is there some way for the Applet to communicate back with the JavaScript that runs it? I use the PARAM tag to send information (cookies with username, settings, etc.) in, but I want to be able to get information back out of the Applet (preferably in string form), so I can update the cookies based upon the users interaction with the applet (I.E. Changes their password or toggles settings)
It wouldn't have to be instantaneous, it would just have to happen when the Applet (or the webpage) closes. Is there an easy way to do this?
