Hi Eddy,

Strange our clients have not been effected by windows Service Packs (yet) and I am not sure why a Windows Service Pack would cause these problems as the VB6 Runtime files have not changed since VB6 SP6 came out, see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/192461

Also see this statement about supportabilty for VB Runtime files (In vista but there is a mention on XP) http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vbrun/ms788708.aspx dont forget VB6 as a development tool is no longer supported by Microsoft.

Because the VB Runtime files are still supported I think your best bet is to speak to Microsoft Support to find out why the Windows updates is breaking the VBRuntime files or invest in VB.Net and convert your programs.

I hope this helps a little
Darren
