It sounds like a good idea in theory, and I have tried that. The thing, though, is that there are about nine different allegro libs, and the one that seemed obvious to me (liballegro-4.9.9.a or -lallegro-4.9.9) doesn't do the trick.

Um, wow, it works. That's going to be a pain in the butt to have to do that for every project. That was 10 different libs. Thank you very much though!:)
