Hey folks,
Ive got a simple project idea for a class this semester (1st year) and I'm not exactly sure how to go about it. The idea is to make a blackberry application (why blackberry? thats all I've got to work with) that allows people to view movie information like trailers, synopsis, reviews...
My biggest problem is having to extract the info from somewhere. As an internet user (from my computer), I usually enter a a site like rotten tomatoes, search for the film and select it from a possible list of films.
Is there any way to automate this process and then extract the relevant information to be displayed to the user or at least take the user directly to the page (without them having to search for it manually)?
I really need some advice on this one, seeing as this entire concept is new to me!
